We are going to Perth early in the new year to see our Grandson compete in a sporting event and we are looking for a caravan park close to the Athletic Stadium at Mt Claremont. We would like to be able to use public transport to an from the stadium. Can anyone suggest a suitable park?

You have selected a difficult area.
Closest I am aware of is the Freemantle Village.
Public transport from there would not be easy.Stirling Highway is the main road.

Karrinyup Waters Resort is a Top Tourist Park 13 kms from Mt Claremont. A lovely drive along the coast. No direct public transport. You would need to travel into the city and out.
Fremantle Village is 12 kms from Mt Claremont but not with the direct drive you have from Karrinyup.
Enjoy our wonderful state.

Thanks for the replies.
Never having been to Perth before I had been considering Karrinyup Waters park but was hopeful of finding one a bit closer. We are looking forward to seeing Perth and the surrounding areas. As well we want to travel to the southern areas (Margaret River etc.)and then head back to Qld via the South Aust deserts. Thanks very much we will contact the park.
