Hello again everyone...

Does anyone have any thoughts, experiences and/or ideas about the use of the "telescopic" extendable ladders? Contemplating getting one to save space withing the van and also be small enought to place within the 200 series LC while venturing further afield without the van.

Look forward to some comments soon... and Happy Christmas and Happy New Year.

Regards,

Sorry, but we have no answers for you as we ourselves are also contemplating getting one.

But whilst the subject is up for discussion, we would like to know if anyone is aware of, or has experienced, any differences between the cheap EBay ones and the more expensive TXP one.

Merry Christmas to all

Hi Craig and Jan

We got the TXP one (because Gone Bush had one :O). It was rated to carry heavier weights than some of the cheapies. We haven't tried it with the caravan but have used it at home. I maintained we didn't need a ladder when travelling - we have a half sized step ladder for the annex. When we have needed a ladder when travelling we were always able to borrow one.

We have one, happy enough with it. It's long enough to reach above the roof line of the BT. I carry ours in the front locker but on top a shelf i made so it doesn't affect space on the floor.
