Any one know where I can buy the o-ring which sits under the paper holder?

You don't say where you are located but generally a bearing place will have a wide range of O ring sizes.

Howdy Andy - we were treated "Royally" with stock item rings by the following here in Adelaide - maybe the website link may get results.
I took the details of the ID and the X-Section dia. of the old rings and got almost instant provision from them as they carried them in stock.

Thanks for that. I looked at the Ludowici web page. They certainly have the size but I am not sure of the exact dimensions. Do you happen to still have the Ludowici P/N?

Howdy Andy - sorry I do not have - but what I did do was to measure the OD of the roll holder (ID of 'O' Ring) and the sectional OD of the old broken 'O' Ring and let them tell me what I needed (the Adelaide folks simply said they had them in store when I told them what I was putting the ring into - they seemed to know the problem well) hence my +ve impression of them.

We have a Thetford C2 unit in our BT and today I found I too needed to replace that "O" ring.
I took the plastic outer cylinder of the paper holder and the broken "O"ring to Northern Auto Electrics, here in Mareeba, Qld.
The very obliging chap there measured the broken "O" ring and the OD of the holder cylinder and informed me the "O" ring was a metric 2.5 X 113 mm.
I advised that a lot of our
BOG members have Thetfords installed and they frequently come through Mareeba.
They had only one in stock (none now) but will be ordering 2 or 3 stock replacements with their order next week.
Mine cost me $6..
Problem solvered.
