Has anybody had a problem with water pooling in the cupboard under the handbowl in the shower recess and leaking underneath the moulding near the battery charger onto the floor outside the shower door. Cant find where its entering.
We are currently camped alongside the creek at Balla Balla near Whim Creek and have had massive rainstorms for the past couple of days so wont be going anywhere for several days. There are 2 other Bushtrackers camped down near the launching ramp but have not had a chance to speak to them yet.
cheers..........Michael & Joan

Have a look around the plumbing on the side of the hot water service from inside the van.

Check with water hot and observe for leaks.
Also if you have an outside shower check around those fittings as well.

We had a water problem about a month ago. We have full rear ensuite set up and were getting water under the hand basin. took ages to find the grief but turned out to be coming from the hot water service expansion overflow, it was pooling somewhere and running back under the hot water tank and wetting all on the shelf under the basin. something is not to well sealed about the operating bits of the gas heating end of the unit. My solution was to extend the expansion overflow to outside the unit cover by about 50mm so it runs straight to ground. All has dried out now. Regards Andrew

If you have an outside shower - this may be the cause. Mine was rarely used, dust built up inside and packed hard. Rain water got in and went down the into the cupboard via the plumbing lines.

Keep this shower clean.Bushtracker added a s/s deflector plate above.

Also check if you have a radio antenna coming into the cupboard

Michael

We recently had a leak only when it rained and found the seal on the external toilet cassette door needed to be replaced.

Thanks everybody for the input/s, we have been out of email contact for the last month or so, so have been unable to answer. As we haven't had any heavy rain since the downpour I'm not positive but think our problem may have been the outside shower - there was a lot of dust/mud inside and the shower head was not pushed down into the tube the hose extends from so think water may have been building up and flowing down inside.
Cheers..........Michael & Joan
