Has anyone stayed at the Berwick Showgrounds ?
My wife and I will be attending a wedding plus staying with friends not that far away hence logistically it's the ideal location. However what concerns me is the security aspect as the BT will be unattended for 3 days.
I do have another option, that unfortunately being on a farm 30k further out of Melbourne

My brother in-law recently stayed there. Secluded during week days, though cannot say about the weekends. Toilets require a key so no incentive as such for members of the public to visit that are of the show grounds. There is normally a few other campers there so security should not be a concern.

Hi All,
We stayed there and found it very good on the weekends or should I say Saturdays they some times have a market which doesn't impinge on the camping area. Key pad access to the amenities, so only campers have access. limited time ie two weeks stay and you have to leave for a week before your return.
