G'Day. I haven't been able to bring up the BOG web site for a few days now. Finally managed to do it this morning. Now find that I'm not a financial member at the moment. Yep it's right. Got my card out and checked. Need to know the current amount to pay,and once done how long before I'll be able to access the owners section ? Hope I'm not going to be locked out till after the Xmas holidays !! I would suggest going back to the old way of doing things and send a reminder out when a blokes membership is coming up for renewal !

If none of the committee members have seen my posting yet, could somebody else let me know what the annual membership fee is now ? No good me paying till I get the correct amount. With the "Silly season" being with us now I guess I will be locked out now till the New Year. Have read the posts from others who have paid and still don't become financial for awhile .

Thanks Mick, I've just paid it via Pay Pal. Hope I get made financial a.s.a.p. as there's a couple of posts I'm keeping an eye on. Looks as though the membership is like my vehicle rego. The onus is on me to renew it weather a reminder comes or not.
Thanks again,
Lawrie.

Hi Lawrie

You are far from alone - have a look down the board for a number of similar questions. It seems there was a glitch in the renewals notification system this year which as how been addressed See thread

Fortunately I was at home when it happened, I paid and posted, and was restored immediately.

Hello Lawrie,

Thanks for your post. As mentioned, there was a glitch with the renewal system which meant some members were not notified of their need to renew. My sincere apologies for this. I can confirm I have received your payment and your membership will be updated very shortly.

Again apologies for the inconvenience this may have caused and I hope you continue to enjoy the site.

Cheers

Hi Colin,

I have replied to you a couple of times, I'm not sure why you haven't received these. I have also updated your membership a couple of times as well. I will go in and check right now and see what has happened and let you know.

Apologies for any inconvenience, and I assure you I haven't been ignoring you.

I will get back to you shortly.

G'day Motherhen, Have looked at the thread that you supplied. Good to see that the problem was sorted out. Wonder why I didn't get a renewal notice then. I did follow all the trouble members were having. Which should have been a clue for me to check when mine was due I guess.
Colin, If my financial status takes as long to be sorted out. I will rethink my membership next year.
Lawrie.

After receiiving a reminder about a week ago I renewed my membership via PalPal this morning

This evening checked and found my status has already been changed to financial.

Everthing with my renewal seems to have worked smoothly for me.

Glitch still needs more work. No renewal notification - message 'non financial' when attempting to log on. I paid my membership via PayPal and can now log on but receive a 'non registered' message when attempting to view the Owners Forum.
Cheers

G'day Mike, Have a look at Edwina's reply to my original post ( Answer ID 27382). She has put her email address there for direct contact to sort out any problems quicker. Not saying that it's not good for everybody to be kept up to date on how our site is going.
