Aircon

I have just paid our subs after a few years in the wilderness doing things other than caravanning, so I'll have to Post here until I get registered.

We had our new BT delivered in March 2007. It has been wired & framed for future aircon fitment.

Our future plans include occasional multi-day stays in caravan parks where the use of aircon would be more practical than the bush. We are mainly interested in the cooling cycle as we have a Webasto heater. We also have a Honda 2Kva generator which is very rarely used but might come in handy with a suitable air-con. Previous research is very dted but the Air command 'Ibis' always got good reviews for reliability & low noise levels. The older Dometic not so good.

We would appreciate any feedback about either the latest Dometic unit, the 'Ibis' or whatever the latest & greatest may be.
