It is with regret that I post to let our friends know that Joan & I we will not be travelling in our much enjoyed 2009 BT any more.
Shortly after arriving home from our last trip in early November 2013, Joan was diagnosed with Gall Bladder cancer. Initially we were hopeful that surgery would help, but to no avail. After many weeks in hospital in both Canberra and Sydney, Joan is now at home resting, while I develop some new domestic skills.
While Joan is quite bright and cheery, she tires easily and rests a significant part of the day. Our family have been very supportive, and we have been blessed with the imminent arrival of 1 great grandchild, 2 grandchildren, and 2 more babies to extended family members.

Don't think we have met you folks, but that doesn't stop us wishing you both the best outcome, with the arrivals of all those extra babies in your family your time will be full of love and happiness and that's all any of us could hope for. :-)

We are very sorry to hear your news, we never met but I spoke to Joan via email in the early days prior to our purchase of our BT. We will keep her in our thoughts and prayers and wish you both the best and enjoy your grandchildren.
