Howdy,

My old 2001 BT has two sliding clips on each window. One of these has broken. Does this mean the entire window has to be replaced or can the broken clip be replaced ?

Thanks a lot,

Willie.

Easy fix.
New parts available from Camec if necessary (maybe even BT if you have problems- I'm sure they still have some parts around).
If just the pop rivet has failed, simply replace it.
Whichever, use a few washers as spacers when you replace the rivet (between the tip of the rivet gun and the head of the rivet... this makes it easier to apply the riveting force, and also allows sufficient play to let the clip rotate easily.

It's all pretty self-evident once you do it.

Good luck

Had to do two of mine recently.
In both cases it was just the rivet, so just drilled out the old one and replaced.
I ground down the tip on the Rivet Gun so it fitted easily in the hole.

Bob and John,

Good info, thank you both.

The plastic slide has broken off, so I will order one from Camec.

Do you guys know if it's possible to have a parcel mailed you at a Post Office on your route (without making prior arrangements with that Post Office) ?

Willie.
