Well go and buy an Off Road Australia 'Aurora' caravan, because nobody else in caravan world seems to know they exist.

The system is like the ones fitted to boats.

So why aren't we all using this system ?

No chemicals, empty by pump out or gravity.

Maybe I will have a boatbuilder fit one for me.

Cheers

Willie.

Willie

We had VacuFlush systems in our big boats over the years and all worked well.

Have the same thing in our BT but to a cassette. It still works great however the flush is a tad noisy when the vacuum is broken if the lid is not down, although the effect is to break up all waste very effectively.

In our next BT we intend to still use VacuFlush but with their permanent larger tank mounted below and suitable for gravity or pumped discharge.

Hope this helps.

El Cheapo versions of Nappisan like Laundry Soaker, Laundry Active and other derivative names all contain the active ingredient Sodium Percarbonate.in various concentrations from 24% to 34% and it is a third of the price of the branded Nappisan.

This does an excellent job of breaking down the contents into a slurry and controls the odour. When we recharge the cassette after emptying and double flushing we then add a small splash of Eucalyptus oil - that really sweetens up the en-suite. We have used nothing else for years. In the early days we tried just about every product on the market.
