Hi there, Stephen and Deborah

I have replaced these window catches several times. Alas all my rivets of different sizes live jumbled in the same box. I suggest you err on the side of length. When finished, put a bit of pressure on the catch - if it collapses and comes out go bigger.

The hole for the rivets are recessed and I had to camphor down the head of my rivet gun so that it would fully seat in the recessed hole.

Cheers

I have just re-read your title on your post - it refers to Dometic windows. I was thinking it was a Camec (the older style) windows. Sorry.

Have you checked the BOG Bible - fair bit of info there of both types of window.

I think Stephen has Camec windows anyway so your comments are relative.

I need some more fixed also.

I have just been through Steve's site to see if I could pick up any clues - heaps of info but not on the rivet length! Have you tried speaking to the techo's at Camec.
