Hi All
On a previous car trip north along the Pacific H/way we noticed that all the Rest Stops have No Camping signs.
Previously this was never a problem as we only ever travelled west and there are lots of free camps available.
Now we are looking at coming up to the muster and to
Bushtracker to have the van serviced, we will be forced to travel the Pacific H/way.
Are there any free camps available north of Newcastle or do you ignore the No Camping signs?
Cheers
Glen & Donna

There are plenty just off the hwy which is good to avoid the traffic noise.
Eg Coopernook great open area free to camp.
Wikicamps has plenty listed

Hi Alan
Thankyou for pointing me to WikiCamps.
I must admit I have been spoilt by only travelling west and I haven't looked at WikiCamps for a long while.
I am surprised by how many free camps there are along the H/way.
Thankyou
Glen & Donna
