Draw/Door catches.

G'day, I'm trying to find some information on replacement catches. I'm pretty sure ages ago I read on our
forum that someone had sourced some metal ones. That is, metal where the screws go through. I've tried going back through all posts till April,but can't find anything. Had a go at the search bizzo without success. Have found all the fixes in the
BOG bible,but if I can get the metal ones that's the way I'd rather go. We've had our BT for eleven years and had to replace one after 4 years at $23 back then from a supplier on the Sunshine Coast. In the last six months five have now broken,guess the plastic is getting brittle.

The catches fitted to our van are made by Hafele.
Ours is a 2003 model with around 160,000 Kl including a heck of a lot of rough stuff.
Never had a problem with the catches.
Recently in a caravan supply shop I saw what I thought were Hafele catches as used on our van but the plastic part where the screws mount was considerably thinner than ours.
The entire catch seemed lighter in construction.
Perhaps there are some cheap copies around.
