Hi,

Today just noticed that the Kitchen Tap (cold) is pulsating however the bathroom sink is a constant flow, all water is from Tank 4 however switch to hot water in both sinks and the flow is constant, potable water is again constant. Is there a problem with the pump?

Regards

John

Low on tank water ?

Hot water tank has its own supply (for a short time)

All the other tanks full or empty, check valves are off on other tanks,

Clean filter on pump, clean filter on end of tap

Good luck

Possibly a kink or something squashing the cold supply hose to the sink. Or calcium build up blocking the cold at the tap entry.

I am about to toss my flick mixer tap as I am sick of trying to clear the buildup of carbonates that seem to collect in the cold side of the tap. Don't know if the tap can be disassembled easily but will probably go with a new one.
For info I have checked all associated pipework/pumps and flushed the tanks but no joy. Have been through this exercise 3 times but as a last resort I am going to swap the flex hoses over to run hot water through the cold side when we get home. Also back flushing with water or high pressure air did not work.

GOOD LUCK,
graham

I should mention our 05 van came with double handled plastic taps which have never been a problem in the en suite but I had to switch the kitchen to the flixer to my regret, fortunately I still have the plastic original if I want to revert.

Cheers graham

Our 2005 model has been flushed out 3 times in the last 5 years. Never had a problem living on the sunshine coast. Problems arose since living in Clermont, ( high calcium in water ) removed the flexible tags to find they (both cold and hot) were packed solid. Consequently do not fill tanks out here.
