One of our sons has in-laws (and I must say very nice ones at that) with property on east side of the MITTA MITTA river up stream of Taylors Crossing just up stream from the Dartmoor Dam. The southern neighbours have a BT and he wondered if they may be on any of the forums and if so to say hello.

Got to say that Taylors Crossing has very steep unsealed access, but is a delightful area to hide away for a day or ten! There is a camp area just up stream of the foot bridge right at the base of the descent with a tight left turn to head south or up stream and with low flow one could take the whole rig to the west side of the river. It seems "Wild River" terrain with trout, Macquarie Perch, and of course HUGE Carp which fight harder than Australian salmon on light gear. I have had them tail walking over the water surface and snapping 6Kg braid with head shakes. There is access to the lake/dam waters via a few tracks to the north on the east side of the river.
