OK all you clever Satellite people...
I am using a manual dish/tripod VAST setup, and I have acquired the satellite. All channels except 7 are working flawlessly and on 7/72/7mate I get a screen message: "E52-32 Searching for signal at 12487 Mhz" This has been persistent over 48 hours... when I've seen this message on previous occasions, it has eventually come good and tuned on to that channel.
Any suggestions appreciated

Thanks
BobH

Two parts to that.
E-50-32 No service available

This error is generally related to an incorrect setting within the VAST decoder OR lack of signal due to poor alignment. Enter the INSTALLATION menu within the main menu and ensure that the LNB L.O frequency is set to 10.700. In order to receive ALL services/channels on the VAST platform, a 10700 LNB is required. When set to 10.700 ensure that you have at least 50% signal QUALITY on the screen and then perform a re-scan.

12487 MHZ taking over from 12567 MHZ is caused by poor signal strength.
If all other channels are OK I would suggest signal strength.
If you are moving around a lot the LNB Skew will vary, slight left or right will help.
Cheers
