Spydor, there are free camp books if you google them, including Camps Australia. Also, Wikicamps is good Australia-wide. The Tassie Mini Muster will be on at Irishtown Rec Ground 9 - 16 Feb, then at Longford Caravan Park 16 - 19 Feb. Keep an eye on the BOG website for registrations if you'd like to come.

Thanks. We have camps books. But hoping for a bit of "local knowledge". Will keep the muster in mind.

A few of our favourites: Mayfield Beach, Waterhouse, Oatlands/Lake Dulverton, Tullah/Lakeside Lodge (paid, but handy to Cradle Mt), a number on the foreshore between Burnie & Penguin, Pontville or Showground (paid but handy to Hobart), Dunalley Pub. Heaps more all around Tas.

Tassie Pete has a great article he wrote in the BOG bible listed under travel. It is a geographical piece about what to see and do in Tassie. We used it for the foundation of our last trip there and just filled in the gaps of things we wanted to do. I’ll attempt to add a link.
Btw we’ll be there next year and plan on attending the mini muster ??
Thanks Pete and Jen.
