Hi Richard. We put a Bushman 230 lt in. Great fridge but needs a little extra height. BT did it.

We just replaced the Waico in our 20ft 2014
Bushtracker with Dometic RCD10.5XES Compressor Fridge & Freezer. In the process we lost 20 litre capacity but the logic for DIY was a minimal amount of carpentry since the choice was not as wide and not as high. Depth was suitable and heat disposal is handled with an external element mounted on the back of the fridge.
No trip experience yet but very happy with 12 volt performance catering for beer and food overflow from house fridge.
