Yesterday evening was the official welcome by Mayor Travis Barber, and Peter McEvoy, President of the Streaky Bay Raceclub. Drinks were provided by
Bushtracker International.
BOG members presented a delicious array of finger food, and a good night was had by all.
Today started with a Birding Tour by Norty and his harem of bird tragics; a Workshop on the "Use of the
BOG website and Facebook page", conducted by Noel Flavs. The ladies excelled themselves with a table chock-a-block of cakes, scones, slices, biscuits of all shapes, sizes and flavours. We were joined by the men after the workshop.
A new innovation for the Muster, is the Clay Pigeon Shoot. The Streaky Club has a hide set up which automatically releases the pigeon; five shooters have a stand each and on a voice command the hide releases the pigeon; you aim and hopefully connect. Around 60 Boggers took up the challenge. Followed by a BBQ lunch.
Tomorrow I will photos of the afternoon workshop "Sharing the Road with Trucks" by Bogger Paul Matthews; and of course our famous Spit Roast night.
