MEG & Capt Norty

SUNDAY 25TH APRIL - ANZAC DAY. Some of our Boggers rose early to attend the Dawn Service conducted at the Afghanistan Avenue of Honour. This Avenue was instigated by the parents of a Yungaburra lad killed whilst serving in Afghanistan.

Others attending at 7.45 ceremony in the Park.
Happy Hour round the fire was welcome, as the weather was a tad nippy

MONDAY 26th April, We all woke up to more rain. The planned visit by the Northern Motoring Club was cancelled as the enthusiasts did not want to drive over muddy roads. It was disappointing, as the vintage cars and a sight to behold, and a credit to their restorers.

However, we did have another treat. The Ulysses Coffee Van arrived with delicious coffee, and scrumptious freshly cooked doughnuts - we all had a thoroughly decadent breakfast.

TUESDAY 27TH APRIL - Another wonderful fully catered breakfast, by Lesley and Alf, and Sue and Michael; together with plenty of volunteer cooks and bottle washers. Bob Hall was there with his trusty camera, and after MEG finally marshalled attendees into a semblance of order, Bob managed a great timed photographs of all attendees.

Again Happy Hour was well attended, with great nubbles provided by some enterprising cooks.
