Some 44 BTs began arriving at Bonadio's RV Camp located 6kms from Yungaburra on the Atherton Tablelands west of Cairns. It was rain, rain and more rain, but it did not deter some of the walkers and birders braving the weather. During the last week, Cairns has received 783mls - which is around 32 inches in the old measure.
Happy Hour began at 5, and it was a welcome for new and old friends, some of us not having travelled for the past year of COVID.
