Information

A large, pleasant, level free camp ground by the rushing Big River managed by Parks VIC. Bookings not required. Well shaded by large, tall Snow Gums over short grass. Situated in a broadening of the narrow Mitta Mitta valley, surrounded by steep forest mountains and partially cleared hills.
Pit toilet, park noticeboard, picnic tables and fire pits. Dogs on lead permitted.
Limbs and trees may fall, take care. Nature being nature, sometimes conditions can change at short notice. It’s a good idea to check ahead of your visit for any updates.
