Information

Right at the junction of the road where a track heads off the main route to Punsand Bay, you'll find a Souvenir Store called the Croc Tent. This make-shift dwelling is occupied by a young family who have earned a great reputation for their tourist information service and tongue-in-check Cape York souvenirs. Depending on the season, they may even sell cold drinks and icecreams! On the other side of the road you'll find the ruins of Lockerbie Homestead, which are worth a stop for exploring.
This area is sometimes referred to as Lockerbie Junction.
