Savory Creek, Csr - WA

The Canning Stock Route Track crosses Savory Creek, which is very saline. It rises in the west SE of Newman and runs through the Little Sandy Desert before ending at Lake Disappointment. Due to variations in conditions each year, the position marker of the crossing is only approximate and you can pick your own route across, although generally if travelling in the middle of the season there will already be fresh tracks to follow for safe passage.
