Katherine Art Gallery now located at Top Didj & Art Gallery

Based in Katherine in the Northern Territory Australia since 1997, Katherine Art Gallery boasts one of the best collections of Australian Aboriginal Art in the area. Even though the shop front has left the main street we are still operating at our other gallery just 7 km out of Katherine on the Gorge Rd, Top Didj & Art Gallery where you can participate in a truly unique Indigenous cultural experience lead by artists from the Katherine region.

Holding a portfolio of artists from the region, the gallery reflects the cultural diversity and influences from the Jawoyn and Dagoman Aboriginies who have lived in the area for thousands of years.

The gallery also has a range of strong collections from the celebrated regions of Arnhem Land, the Kimberleys and the Central Western Desert, which is home to the Warlpiri people. Katherine is central to these regions.

Clients from all over the world maintain contact with the gallery to purchase didgeridoos, artifacts and dreamtime paintings from the very special characters and friends who come to produce their work on the premises.
