Information
Located in Bold Park in Floreat, Reabold Hill is the highest natural point on the Swan Coastal Plain in the metro area, therefore offering sweeping views of the hills, river, and coast.
It is a free spot to visit with vehicle access during the day. It is popular with walkers, runners and cyclists so please take care. Walking up the eastern approach on a hot summers day, will certainly challenge your level of fitness. It is much more rewarding to walk up the hill, as motoring turns the experience into a rather large speed hump.
A short boardwalk takes visitors to the summit and during spring the surrounding bush area of Bold Park is full of wildflowers.
After you have taken in the view from the Reabold Hill Lookout, make your way back down to the car park and head towards the limestone track located on the opposite side of the car park to the boardwalk. Bold Park has many walking trails, one of the most popular being the 5.1 km "Zamia Trail" loop.
Bold Park also offers seasonal free guided walks which are led by volunteers who are local experts on the Park's flora, fauna, geology and conservation projects.
