Sydney John Reynolds gravesite - QLD

This marker is at the base of a tree along the edge of the Dig Tree Campground. The sign indicates that the ashes of "much loved Brisbane man: Sydney John Reynolds" were buried here.

The sign is not facing the campground, but is facing toward Cooper Creek. I accidentally came across it while walking back to the campground after a stroll north along the creek.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any more information about Mr. Reynolds. If you do, please share it here!

Exact WGS84 coordinates are S 27 37 16.9, E 141 04 39.9 (in case EO rounds it off)

REYNOLDS, Sydney John Passed away 21st September, 2013. Aged 77 Years.Loving Husband of Marian ( Bub ) for 55 years. Devoted Fatherand Father-in-law, Grandfather and Great-grandfather. Syd was Cremated and his Ashes will be scattered in the Outback that he loved. One last ride,Farewell Old Friend
