Information
NSW National Parks campground set in a small clearing amongst typical dry country stunted eucalypts. Little shade in hot weather, but exploring the old sheep station gives an insight into the hardships suffered in days gone by to make a successful living. Toilets, gas BBQs, tank water (seasonal).
Mount Wood campground is the perfect spot for a couple of nights on your outback tour with sites available for caravans. It's a great base for walking, birdwatching and car tours.
