Lookout over the Bernard River located on the Thunderbolt’s Way midway between Gloucester and Nowendoc. Named in memory of Eric Carson, sawmiller and road builder who, with sons Max and Terry and team, built the first road from Gloucester to Nowendoc.

Looking west from Carson’s Lookout offers panoramic views over Giro and State forests to the Barrington Tops World Heritage area. The lookout has parking and picnic facilities and is about 40 minutes from Gloucester.
