Wee Jasper is a fantastic destination nestled in the North Western foothills of the Brindabella Ranges. It's halfway between Yass and Tumut and close to Canberra. It's a popular destination for 4WD'ers and campers. The Goodradigbee River and the beautiful Micalong Creek flow through the valley.
Five camping Reserves either on the Hume and Hovell Walking Track, the Goodradigbee River or Micalong Creek. Only 1 hr away to/from Canberra, Tumut, Yass, Brindabella. Close to State Forests. Primitive Camping. Suitable for caravans and camper trailers also. All Reserves have toilets, some have showers. Pets welcome. Close to Carey's Cave. Wild caves. Amazing landscape. There once was an operating shop, fuel, bottleshop, tavern, restaurant, cafe but that has long closed.
