Five Rocks Camping Area (Byfield) - QLD

Five Rocks camping area in Byfield Conservation Park is the only camping area with facilities. This is a coastal woodland site with access to the beach but vehicles are not allowed on the beach.Access: the camping area can only be reached by 4WDs with high clearance. It is accessible for off-road camper trailers—track and weather conditions permitting. 12 numbered and defined camp sites. Maximum six people per site. Facilities include cold showers, composting toilets, picnic tables and water (treat before drinking). Campfires allowed in fire rings only. Generators allowed. Bookings essential with online option. Unreliable mobile phone coverage.
