The Traditional Owners of Lake Gregory were handed back Native Title to their land on this site on the 20th August 2001. Two weeks later the Paruku IPA (Indigenous Protected Area) was declared.This camp site is capable of accommodating any self sufficient camping setup able to traverse the dirt roads to get here. It contains fire pits, shade shelters, picnic tables and toilets but no water.A permit is required to enter the Paruku IPA.
