Information

The track to Horsetail Falls begins at the large car park on the Lyell Highway at the top of the saddle near Gormanston. The park is suitable for RV's and large vehicles.

The track to the Falls is hard surfaced and suitable for wheelchair use, leading to a viewing platform. Best time to view is after rain, particularly in the winter/spring season, when it becomes a fantastic sight. The Falls can also be seen clearly from the Lyell Highway when flowing.

The Grade 2 track is 1.6km in length and should take around 30 minutes return. It is suitable for families. Dogs and drones are not allowed.
