Tanners Road Bend Camp - VIC

Free campground in state forest with a pit toilet. No water. No bins. No booking system. No phone service. Pets permitted.
The area was upgraded recently and features three designated camp areas with large fire pits at each site. Sites vary considerably but most offer shade from large trees so solar, Starlink and access for larger vehicles/trucks may make some sites unsuitable. Whilst many sites are accessible with caravans, camper trailers or roof top tents, there are some segregated tent only areas behind bollards areas too.
There is a gravel area in the main site next to toilets with bollarded bays that are best suited to caravans or motorhomes. All other sites in the area are on black dirt. All sites are under significant tree cover so solar panels may struggle to keep up at most sites.
This is a shared use area for horse riders and motorbikes with a dedicated section with horse yards. Many locals come midweek for day rides and park horse floats besides the yards so please keep these free.
There are also 4wd tracks and walking trails suitable for MTB bikes.
The site also features 4 horse yards which are used daily by local trail riding enthusiasts. Please keep access to these yards available and respect the shared use facilities. The Forest Trail Riders Group were responsible for the recent upgrades and toilet.
