Behind the friendly Dingo roadhouse, campers and caravanners are permitted to stay. Depending on the seasonal conditions it will be a paddock/style open grass area or expanse of dirt. There are not facilities in the free camp but the Roadhouse conveniences are available including meals, laundry, bbq, bins, tables, fuels, showers, toilets, water and dogs are allowed. Due to the noise of trains overnight, it is best considered as an overnight or base to explore the nearby National Park (Blackdown Tablelands).
