Information

The Kimberley, one of the oldest and unique parts of Australia is also home to the Derby “Sculpture on the Marsh” Art Project. It is a public art project aimed at promoting the region's cultural identity and celebrating its unique character.
The Marsh Art is best enjoyed at sunrise or sunset. The 8 locally designed and manufactured sculptures can be admired as you wander leisurely along the fascinating Derby Marsh. The concept is the brainchild of Mark Norval, renowned local Artist, “scoundrel” and driven supporter of Indigenous Art.
