This is the start of a 4wd track to Hurdle Gully. In dry weather you can continue the loop exiting back onto the highway at Monto. This track is the main route into the State Forest. It's a worthwhile 10.6km trip down this track to the Hurdle Gully Lookout and picnic area. The track turnoff is signed.
