Zone 9 Camping Area - Diray - QLD

Choose from two camping areas—Diray on the east coast of the island, and Carree just around the top of the island on the northern beach.Once you’ve found your perfect spot in the shady dune woodland, head to the beach to fish or just explore its great sandy expanse. If you’re feeling energetic, take the steep track to the Sandy Cape lighthouse, World War II radar station bunkers and a lightkeeper’s grave.Back at camp settle in for a night under the stars and fall asleep to the gentle sound of waves rolling up the beach.
