Walk down past the Channel Overlook then turn right.
The track follows the small gorge then climbs for approx 2 km to a lovely elevated viewing point on a bend of the Avon river.
After a total of 4.5 km you arrive at Dermodys camp.
After a swim return via the same route to your car.
Alternatively use the forestry tracks to do a car shuffle to save you walking the trail in 2 directions.
