This is Brinja People's Land even today.
The creek holes in the rock in Woolla Creek. Are the healing pools used by the Brinja Aboriginal people. They would wash in the Creek at a particular
time of the year to heal the body. This is a very special place one a year they would walk up Oulla Creek cross the saddle drop down into Woolla creek and take the 2nd creek down Deau R. and cross to Witt Creek to a bora rings before joining up with Walbunja People and travelling to Nadjongbilla

There are over 350 sacred and special sites in the area from Bendethera to Mt Kydra and the Tuross and Shoalhaven Rivers.
