Visit at dusk or dawn to see wombats Wallabies kangaroos emus native wildlife in natural setting.
This walk is grade 2 is suitable for electric or assisted wheelchairs. The whole walk is a distance of 2 km. Allow 45 minutes return suitable for all abilities. This walk takes you across grasslands with views of the Verica range in the distance. The grasslands are popular for spotting native wildlife including emus, wombats and kangaroos particularly in the morning or afternoon. No toilets nearest toilets are at Derby River car park 5 km south mobile phone reception is limited and cannot be guaranteed. The prom wildlife walk is part of the Yanakie Smith a unique environment that has a long and rich history.
