Information

Hells Hole is one of the most impressive karst features in this region. It is a cenote - a sinkhole that extends into open water. Hells Hole is approximately 45m in diameter, 25m deep and 38m to the water from the viewing platform.
Hells Hole is a popular site for exploring by divers who are qualified with the Cave Diving Association of Australia
(CDAA). Divers must obtain a permit from ForestrySA via the CDAA website.
The trail meanders uphill to the sinkhole with an easy walk back towards the car park. Be prepared for the sensation of standing on the viewing platform!
