Information

A small park 4300sq mtrs on a rise overlooking the Clarence River. It contains several historic trees which mark the site of the Lower Southgate School which was one of the earliest schools built in the lower Clarence in 1877. There is small concrete and sandstone war memorial displaying the names of the local community members who went off to war but did not return.
