Teewah Beach Camping - Zone 7 North - QLD

Portable toilets are required and must have a sealed waste holding tank. They must be transportable and suitable for emptying into a portable waste disposal facility. Bag-style toilets are not permitted. Camp fires prohibited. Fully self-contained cooking and heating appliances that use gas or manufactured fuel only (heat beads, briquettes) are permitted. Appliances that are not fully self-contained, such as braziers, are not permitted.Vehicle access permits required. 4WD access only. Located at the southern end of Teewah Beach, this camping zone is 200m long with open camp sites located behind the foredunes. Coastal trees and shrubs provide little shade or protection. Camp site surface is grass and sand. Portable toilets required. Camp fires are prohibited. Fully self-contained cooking and heating appliances that use gas or manufactured fuel only (heat beads, briquettes) are permitted. Bulk rubbish bins are provided between camping zones 6 and 7. Additional facilities are available at Freshwater day-use and camping area. Generators are permitted from 7am to 9pm, sound rating must be less than 65 decibels (2.0Kva). No mobile phone reception.
