Camp & Toilet - SA

There is a 50 km no camping zone in Mamungari Conservation Park. Replacement signs have been erected to more clearly show where this is. Please respect the wishes of Traditional Owners and do not camp in this zone. This zone has been in place for many decades.In 2023, new dedicated camping sites were established within Mamungari Conservation Park. There is a shed tank and bush toilet at Voakes Hill corner. The camp was designed to catch rainwater in large tanks, but you should not rely on them to be your only water source as you cross the ABH. These tanks can be dry if the weather has been dry or previous tourists have used all of the water or damaged the tanks.
