Wooleen Station - WA

Wooleen Station is a well organised quality station stay in the Murchison. The owners are passionate about rehabilitating the environment and managing the land they are caretaking. They have two clean, spacious and comfortable rammed earth units for travellers that provide welcome respite from tents and bush camping. There is also a basic camping kitchen if you want to stay self sufficient. A three hour station tour is well worth it and the owners provide informed commentary.A small cafe at the homestead area with free wifi.An excellent professional setup retaining 100% rustic and original station buildings put to good use. Self contained camping / caravans is available at the Murchison River, 16km from the homestead. Also other sites at Gidgee Tree and Rocky Outcrop. Well signposted walk and drive trails.Wooleen Lake is on the property, a well known bird habitat.
