Information

Ruins everywhere with the old police station still standing. Good information about the history of Lawlers on the signboard explaining that Patrick Lawler and his party of prospectors pegged the first mine here in 1894 and the township of Lawlers was gazetted in April 1896. Lawlers was a flourishing town and successful mining area with a population of 8000!
