Information

Great 4WD roads and some great places to see out here. Firstly the trek to Boggy Hole is a track through the Finke Gorge to the Ernest Giles Rd. The picturesque Palm Valley is a 45 km return trip from Hermansburg. Just take it carefully and make sure you know how to use your 4WD. On sandy sections you will need lower tyre pressure of less than 20psi for a few tens of metres, but a lot of riverbed driving is on both solid and loose gravel and is soft roader friendly. Have a compressor ready!
