Barred Creek camping (north) - WA

Great place to camp just north of Broome. Excellent fishing and mud crabbing. As with all free camps in this area there is a maximum 3 night stay restriction and no facilities.

There are large flat areas for camps (camper trailers and caravans ok, provided you can manage the access). The creek is very tidal and camps are a long way from water on the low tide. Walking out over the rocky banks near the mouth of the creek is the best way to experience the area if you don't have a boat. Plenty of boating and fishing in the creek during high tide.

For 4WD only (no trailers) there is a track over the dunes to access the white sandy beach on the southern side of the creek.
