Pigeon Hole - WA

Whilst many will say this site is not worth the 18km round trip to locate and view the tiny gnamma hole, it's a quiet spot in the bush that few people bother to visit so it will suit some and there's a good story behind how it was refound by Graeme Newbey in 1994 after numerous failed attempts. Visitors will note numerous tracks - none leading anywhere near the actual location of the gnamma hole which is easy to find today. These other tracks are likely to be the failed search attempts that took place over a 2 year period between 1993 - 1994. The name given to this gnamma hole is likely to be based on an old bushman's trick of following pigeons on their evening flight, where it is assumed that a woodcuyter was led to this gnamma hole.
